Tragedy at Aurora Movie Theater – time for victims and families to work through it all

In the heart of this tragedy I wish healing, health and recovery to all the victims and the families. For some it is the end, but for others it’s a new beginning of growth and rebirth. Many people feel that we attract everything that happens to us. It’s not that we attract them to us, sometimes things just happen. What is important is how we react to them. The healing of the body is a shorter recover period than the healing of the mind. One of the most important lessons that these people can take from this is that life is precious, short and fragile. You can’t wait for another day. You have to go out and grab it today. If you have dreams and are saying I can always do that later as I’m still young I have many years ahead of me guess what – that may not be the case.

It is my sincere hope that these people can get through this event and grow from it. I know they will have to go through some intense counseling or period of time in order to get the images out of their mind. But for others they will use this experience to grow and better themselves. These will be the people that realize life is short and you have to make the best of it. You have to get off of your behind follow your dream. No matter what that dream is. Some will view this as what it is – a wake-up call. Others will look at it from a victim mentality and never get over it. I do feel the choice is up to them.

I know some practitioners of the law of attraction will say that the vibrational energy of the gun man and all the victims were vibrating on the same level so that’s why they are all drawn to that particular movie theater that night at that time. I’m not so sure of that. I do knows everyone’s choice to go to that movie theater and at that particular time. It was the choice of the gunmen to do such an evil act that same time. So whether it was just coincidence or law of attraction, at this point I don’t think it really matters. What’s really important is that these people move past, learn, grow and benefit from this experience.

I live in Colorado and not far from where this took place. The media coverage has been exceptional. The integrity of all the local news stations has been outstanding. They make a concerted effort not to mention the gunman’s name when they are talking about the victims of this tragedy. I listen to people talk who went through this. I can see the pain in their eyes and hear it in their voices. The healing time has now begun and now are some of the most important choices that they can make how they will live the rest of their lives. My thoughts, wishes, hopes and Blessings are being sent the way of these brave folks.
